My passion is learning about other cultures and destinations through travel. I think it’s important to get to know the locals and see how they live.
So far, I’ve been to all seven continents, 50 countries, and 48 states.
I began my career working with international commercial airlines, and today, I write about travel and plan travel for my exceptional clients.

Being raised as an Air Force brat exposed me to new places and change. I grew up between Washington, DC (both in VA and MD), Ohio and Texas. In Texas, I met my future husband, Bill, in high school. Our last name is Trotter, so you can see that I was, in fact, destined to be a globetrotter:)
In college, I lived in Austin (Hook ‘Em) and enjoyed spending weekends traveling around the country to football games. Central Texas remains one of my favorite places to travel because there are so many cute German towns and lots of great BBQ.
After college, my friends and I took a 3-month trip backpacking and Eurailing around Western Europe. It cemented my love of travel and I vowed that I would one day travel the world.
I spent nearly 15 years working with commercial airlines all over the world, helping them to improve customer experiences and operations at the airport and in-flight.
In 2006-7, we also took a one-year work sabbatical – something that I highly encourage – and Bill and I traveled the 23 countries.
A lot of people offer to help plan a trip, but that’s just the surface. I help people to plan for a lifetime of travel – no matter your benefits or constraints.
